TRIP CANCELLATION POLICY: The following cancellation policies will be in effect when a client cancels or postpones a medical flight with ATS at their own discretion and not due to any action on the part of ATS, Inc.
It is NOT the intent of ATS to penalize a client with cancellation fees, but rather to recoup management, medical screening, individual team pay, aircraft flight department or other internal costs in setting up the planned medical flight. When an offer has been given by ATS and the client has agreed to the proposed or planned flight either verbally, in writing or by wire-transfer payment, it is considered to be "confirmed".
(1) $500 Cancellation Fee is due if canceled in the first 12-hours from the time the trip is confirmed.
(2) $1000 Cancellation Fee is due from 12-hours past confirmation up until 36-hours prior to the medical team departing for the transport.
(3) A 50% Cancellation Fee (of the total trip cost) is due if the flight is canceled less than 36-hours of the planned departure of the medical team for the transport. All crewmembers expenses for pre-positioning away from our base to include airline tickets, crew expenses and crew salaries will be due in the event of a short notice trip cancellation. | | | © 2013, Aeromedical Transport Specialists, Inc..
